5BR Family Home w/ Pool Table | Backyard Retreat

Pros:- The house had 5 bedrooms and 5 queen size beds- The living room area was able to accommodate 10 people fairly wellCons:- A large amount of black mold was found in the top floor bathroom.- The backyard was not maintained and we didn't feel comfortable sitting in 3" tall grass.

The house was clean and spacious for our group of 6 adults and 2 children. Communication prior to and during our trip with the host was great. It would have been nice if the house was equipped with a playpen for baby to sleep in instead of us renting one. The house and amenities need some attention. Kitchen was lacking dish towels & cloths, drinking glasses & wine glasses (for a house that sleeps 10 comfortably - needs way more). There were no large serving or salad bowls, ice cube trays, flipper or scissors in the kitchen. As for the bedrooms: no mattress covers on the beds, flat pillows, no night stands for lamps, CPAP machine or phones, no ceiling or oscillating fans, some of the sheets & pillow cases were bleach stained & torn. The air conditioning is controlled remotely and was adjusted for us when requested. Hopefully the host will call in a plumber as suggested. The downstairs shower was barely useable (water not switching from tap to shower head). The upstairs bathroom sink was extremely slow to drain. The house itself was lovely, it just needs a little TLC.

There was a ton of damage on the walls, the pool table was in shambles, the stairs were a hazzard going stairs, my wife slipped on the top stairs and fell done.The location was great, but host is great and there is a lot of potential if some work is done both in and outside.
